Outdoor Laser Tag in Auckland

Laser Strike NZ – Pukekohe

Instead of playing laser tag in a dark space, Laser Strike NZ run a mission-based outdoor setup. It’s basically like playing a live-action video game in real life. Take to the battlefield and test your skills out in real-time!

Though Laser Strike NZ is suitable for practically all ages, we especially recommend it for teens and adults. The realism of their setup is incredibly impressive.

Whether it’s your first time playing, or you’re a seasoned pro, this realistic laser tag is well worth checking out.

Laser Combat Auckland – Riverhead & Kingseat

With two facilities (and a mobile service), Laser Combat Auckland really do have all bases covered. To join them in person, you can either head out to their top-secret outdoor laser tag arena in Riverhead (West Auckland) or to their Kingseat location (South Auckland).

Laser Combat Auckland are proud to offer the most advanced, realistic laser tag combat experience in all of New Zealand – and have been doing so for more than 8 years.

With a focus on teamwork, you’ll receive basic tactical training and then be sent off to the battlefield, dressed in camo and armed with realistic guns (with equally realistic sound effects). All missions are run military-style by experienced, ex-forces instructors so you know they’re serious business.

When playing, you’ll have four different gun types to choose from (a scorpion sub machine gun, commando carbine, MP-7 and micro uzi), each with a 200m+ range. These guns use infra-red light which is completely safe (just like a TV remote uses).

You’ll also be able to choose from a range of military-style exercises including search and rescue, capture and hold, base assault, VIP escort, sniper hunt and death match.

Did you know?Laser Combat Auckland also offer a mobile service so it’s possible to have their amazing gear come right to you!

Laserforce Auckland – Wairau Park

Another arena running Gen8 gear, you’ll be kitted up with your phasers and then sent off to battle!

Laserforce Auckland offer a number of different game types – the most common of which being individual and team modes. Simply put, these modes challenge players to score the most points – be it for themselves or collectively as a team.

Points are scored by zapping your oppositions vests or by tagging the interactive targets present in the arena itself.

To make the game even more interesting, players can tick off specific achievements, rank up and follow their position on the leaderboard.

Players who score higher within a game will find themselves with an additional set of requirements – they may be expected to tag players twice, for example. This does a great job of helping to level the playing field, allowing both newbies and experienced players to join in, side by side.

In return for more challenging tags, highly-ranking players are able to earn special abilities and more exciting weapons.

If you’re after a seriously competitive game, this is the spot for you!
